i think it's true what they say, that good things take time. in the world we live in today, everything seems so rushed. it's all about doing it now, fast results, and saving time, but i don't think it's best that way.
tonight in institute, it took us 15 minutes to go through 4 verses. i can honestly say i don't remember the last time i learned so much from the scriptures.
i am slowly working on my patience and dillegence, because i truly truly believe that whether it's getting in shape, improving on a talent, getting to know someone, or changing yourself for the better, great things take time. they just do.
i am absolutely loving my new pair of wonder unders. in fact, i couldn't wait to get home from church yesterday just so i could put them on! they are so comfy and can be used for working out, or worn just as a normal pair of leggings (so practical)! these were definitely worth the investment. thanks lululemon!
note to self: 10 out of 10 times, rolling your car window down in attempts to get the snow off will result in the snow falling inside the car and onto your lap. please stop trying.
i really, really don't know what i'd do without them. :)

well tomorrow starts a new semester and i'm not living at the deeg. the feeling is bittersweet. as nice as it is being at home with my family, i will miss the deeg and all the great memories i have there. the past two years at the deeg were amazing! i compiled a list of things i will miss about the good old deeg:
7-11 runs on the daily dance parties in the bathroom in front of the giant mirror late night chat/bing sesh's in the kitchen the white room, pink room, little shop of horrors, and the grandma room sac of jems staying at the sig till the wee hours of the night just laughing pam and her amazing cooking dg being my life musical chairs and dancing in the chapter room the lips of fame miriam staying out back in our cars chatting because we are too lazy to get out
but mostly..
constantly being around my best friends who are absolutely amazing
so we went to vegas for new years. i have to admit, i've never wanted to not go somewhere as badly as i didnt want to go to vegas. well it ended up being the most fun night of my entire life, and everyday i wish i could go back and live it all over again!
trip highlights:
sleeping (well...lying uncomfortably) with two others on a blowup mattress made for one
a drunk man telling lil she was "the chosen one" and all the other funny quotes from the night
us being sober, and more excited and hyper than any drunk person on the strip
the beautiful fireman we couldn't take our eyes off of
