dangit

today i woke up and thought,

"if it stops raining,

i think i'll take a walk

after church".

it stopped raining alright...

it stopped raining

so it could start snowing.

yesterday's weather

set my hopes

unrealistically high.

oh well,

at least our apartment

is cozy.

today's my mom's birthday.

i am so lucky to have her.

she's the funniest, sweetest,

and most beautiful woman i know.

don't know what i'd do without her.

can't wait to get burgers later today

and celebrate.

livin for the weekend

since getting married,

maybe my saturday mornings

no longer include going to the mall

or sleeping till noon

and getting a diet coke

with a friend.

maybe saturday mornings

now include 

waking up at 9:30

(my new "sleeping in"),

to help richie clean the apt.

then we go to maverik

for a hotdog and a bev

(if you haven't tried their hotdogs,

you need to... they're delicious).

the weekend can't come soon enough.

cabin fever
