i love the rain until the worms crawl out.

 unlike most people,

 the sound of

nails on a chalkboard

never makes my skin crawl.

stepping on worms

makes my skin crawl.

today at work

a woman came through my line

and bought some bananas.

when i asked if she wanted them in a bag

her eyes opened wide and she smiled.

"why no, i don't need a bag,

i guess i can take them just like that!

yes, i will take them just like that."

it isn't uncommon 

that customers go without a bag,

but this woman acted like it was the most

liberating thing

she'd done in awhile,

and it really made my day.

good day sunshine

i know that i am

very happy

when i have to go to work

for 8 hours,

yet i'm still in a good mood.

really though,

do you ever have those days

when you feel like

nothing can bring you down?

it is no secret that i don't like cheese

in my opinion,

the words 

squeaky and cheese

should never be used together.

although i am going home

whiter than i came

i loved being by the sea.

i'd be lying if i said 

i wasn't a little excited to leave

considering there is

a turkey tom at home

with my name on it.
