la la land

i have a lot on my mind today.

too much, in fact,

to make a wordy wednesday

of it all.

i do know two things

[1] i am very happy

[2] these girls are more than great.

j crew

i wouldn't be opposed

to marrying a guy

with the last name Crew.

then my name 

would be

jane crew.

sounds a lot like j crew.

sometimes it's almost sad

how excited i get

when i get a new catalog.

some girls 

are addicted to chocolate,

i'm addicted to j crew.

sometimes mcdonalds just sounds like the best option

we just aren't in the mood

to be social.

it's okay though,
because

mcdonalds always understands.

boy do i love the beatles.

maybe not as much

as the rest of my family does,

but i do love them.

i am in love
with the stairs that wind
from the ground outside
to the very top of the library.
it's like the great wall of china,
only local.

wednesday, time for words.

i saw this quote and loved it, i think it is so true.

anyway

i woke up smiling this morning.

whenever that happens, i know it will be a good day.

i went on an outing with katie and my mom

(which included jimmy john's!)

i got a new pair of running shoes...

apparently running shoes are supposed to be

1/2-1 inch too big on you!

don't ask me why,

that's what the guy at the store said.

well long story short,

i have big feet as it is so i was less than thrilled.

but i still love them.

on a final note,

have you ever been so excited

that your bones shake?

your arms just tingle

from the inside out

and it feels like

your heart is shaking really fast?

i have :)

lately, a lot.

monday
went to yet another bees game,
why oh why can i not resist those pretzels?
tuesday
went on a run and got lost.
yes, you'd think since i've lived in the same place
my entire life
i'd know my way around.
apparently not.
wednesday
had to remind myself this morning
that i am never ever going to wake up
5 minutes earlier
so i can cook myself eggs before class,
never.
so please stop planning to do so
every night.
also,
katie graduated from high school today.
woo hoo!
can't wait to go to school together
you little bug-eyed turtle!
